Fort Valley State University’s College of Agriculture, Family Sciences and Technology is excited to offer AgDiscovery this summer. Supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, this hands-on program gives students a first-hand look at the many exciting and rewarding career paths in agricultural sciences. 🌟 Georgia FFA State Convention 🌟
April 23 - April 25, 2026

This past Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Byron Middle FFA attended the 98th Georgia FFA State Convention at the Macon Coliseum!

Each day students had the opportunity to meet other FFA members from across the state and attend general sessions conducted by the Georgia State FFA Officers!

A few of our students were voting delegates at some of the sessions. Voting delegates got to play a critical role in helping select the next year’s Georgia FFA state officer team!

Students also had the opportunity to explore various careers, colleges, and post-secondary opportunities at the Career Expo on Thursday and Friday.
