Occasional Divas

We're so happy to have Alison with us. Here's a little about her and her background.

Alison Carey
Alison is very excited to be working with the Occasional Divas. Alison graduated from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA in 1993 with a degree in Music Education. She has studied piano with Sandra Chenevey and Yumiko Oshima-Ryan. She has worked in the Karns City Area School District for 22 years where she has taught elementary general music, 5th & 6th grade band and 5th & 6th grade chorus. Alison is active in the Butler arts community. She played piano for the Butler Symphony Orchestra for four years and served on the board for two. She has been active in the Butler Musical Theater Guild for many years. She has served the guild as music director, show pianist, singer, dancer, actor and choreographer. She is also active in the Butler Little Theater and HobNob Theater. Alison resides in Butler, PA with her husband Jeff and three feisty dogs.
