FirstStep™ is not a government or a private agency. It is funded and managed by a collective of participating local organizations. The ButlerFirstStep™ system was designed and implemented as a FirstStep™ pilot program in Butler County, PA. The system is constantly evolving to reflect the changing needs of the community, and embrace new information technologies that facilitate easier access to help providers.
