Hooked on Horses

Sometimes the hardest thing a trainer can do is not step in.

Could I tighten that cinch faster? Absolutely.

But confidence isn’t built when adults do everything for kids. It’s built in the moments they try, struggle, problem-solve, and eventually succeed on their own.

Will they make mistakes? Of course.

That’s where learning happens.

Every independent horseman starts as a kid reaching just a little too high, trying something that feels just a little too hard. 💜

Its sometimes the small things that can brighten the day ❤️One of my lesson students the other day brought me these flowers and a picture of Cash. ❤️
