Center Pointe Celebrate Recovery

For those that call Center Pointe home, we heard a great reminder today. Shawn asked us who our people were because, you can't be a Lone Ranger.

"People that follow Jesus alone, don't follow Jesus for long."

Join us Thursdays at 6:30. Life is too hard to do it by yourself.

Last night your child learned that people who hurt them aren’t bad people; they’re people who’ve also been hurt. We all have scars from hurts. To deal with hurt, your child learned to ask God to help them choose forgiveness and to turn the other cheek.

Key verse: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8

Parents – Show your child a scar on your body and tell the story behind it. Encourage your child to show you a scar and tell the story behind it, too. Encourage your child to talk about any hidden scars in their heart. Be open to their hurt feelings and scars. Be ready to ask for forgiveness if those scars were caused by you.

Celebrate Recovery is expanding in the West Chester/Liberty Township area!!

In June, we will have Wednesdays at Northstar West Chester. Center Pointe will shift to Thursdays.

Both CRs will still be starting with dinner at 6:30pm. Celebrate Place childcare will be offered at both locations. Large group and worship will begin at 7pm.

This is an exciting time for Celebrate Recovery to be able to offer more meetings and reach more people!!
