Check out one of our recent publications. This was research carried out by Dr. Chandler Smith and Prof. Eric Hernandez with funding from the National Science Foundation. They found a clever way to find localized damage in large structures by using sparsity-promoting algorithms and vibration measurements. This was published in the Journal of Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing.
