Saturday, July 25th AND Sunday, July 26th from 9am-3pm

Join us for this 2-day workshop combining art and ecology. We’ll draw from specimens and learn basic insect morphology with a particular focus on pollinators. Then, we’ll head outside to observe and draw from life! No prior art or entomology experience required.

We had a busy weekend at Rock Point Center! This past Sunday, our Reading Rock Point class met for their second field day to learn all about trees. Land Steward, Naturalist, and Outdoor Educator Tyler Pastorok led participants through the identification process and across the Rock Point landscape to meet some of the trees residing here.
