Even on the 2600, this game had that same panic: missiles coming down, cities disappearing, and you trying to hold everything together for just one more wave.

Simple graphics, huge pressure. That was the magic.

This one had that Saturday morning cartoon feeling baked right into the cartridge. Bright colors, tiny characters, simple gameplay, but if you grew up with the Smurfs, this was a big deal.

It’s one of those games that hits more as a memory than as a modern “review score.”
