Listening to past episodes on our site seattlessound.com and wow, we did great work. Even outdoors! It was tough, the post sound engineering involved... I dunno if I have that in me again 😂 but, so many tools created out of lessons learned came from it. And now we're putting those lessons and in-house engineered tools to practice to make our next set of shows. As the Great O would say, "good job, good job."

Strap in as we take you on a ferry ride, venturing deep into the woods to meet with Jerry Whitlow, a familiar face from the early 80s Seattle music scene and a close friend of Owen Wright. As Owen's roommate during his glam metal band days, Jerry's mechanical skills laid the tracks for his transformation from fast cars to his role as a respected horse breeder and trainer. Their story began at "Seattle Film Works," where the seeds of future music legends were sown—Mark Arm and Kim Thayil among them. Renowned for epic house parties that united alternative rock and grunge pioneers, Jerry's path has led him to the creation of "Turtlehorse Ranch" alongside his wife, Carrie Guthrie-Whitlow.
