January, named after Janus, the Roman god with two faces — one looking back, one looking forward. Feels fitting.

Happy doesn’t even begin to cover it seeing my dad finally realize his dream: building a home back in the Philippines 🇵🇭. He can finally enjoy retirement. A place to return to, to rest, to remember where we come from — and to travel freely between two homes 🇺🇸.

There’s still more to come (hello, future rooftop bungalow 👀), but I’m already looking forward to visiting often, watching it grow, and making memories there.
