These nominations reflect the heart behind both brands and their shared mission to transform how sleep is understood, prioritized, and supported in communities across Western New York and beyond.
Through education, advocacy, programming, products, and practical resources, START WITH SLEEP, LLC and The Doze continue to create meaningful impact by helping individuals and organizations improve health, performance, resilience, and overall well-being through better sleep.
To be recognized for both community impact and innovation is an especially meaningful honor as both businesses continue building solutions that challenge outdated views of rest and create new pathways for healthier living.

Happy World Sleep Society - World Sleep Day 😴🌏
We are excited to share that START WITH SLEEP is once again a delegate for World Sleep Day, marking our 10th year taking part in this global effort to raise awareness about the importance of sleep and its impact on health, well-being, and daily performance.
This year’s message is a powerful one: sleep is essential to health. It is not just about getting enough hours. Sleep health is multidimensional, shaped by factors such as duration, timing, regularity, efficiency, quality, and daytime alertness. It also requires intention, reflection, and support in the environments where people live, work, and serve.
To honor this year’s theme, we are leading a digital advocacy effort focused on encouraging organizations to formally recognize sleep as an essential pillar of health and a meaningful part of workplace wellness.
As part of this effort, we have created a Sleep Pledge Certificate that we will share with companies and organizations to sign, affirming their commitment to prioritizing sleep health within workplace culture and wellness initiatives.
This activity is designed to help employers and community leaders better understand the role sleep plays in performance, resilience, focus, safety, recovery, and long-term well-being. It also encourages organizations to think beyond simply getting more sleep and consider how workplace culture, scheduling, recovery, stress, and daily habits influence sleep health across multiple dimensions.
Through this campaign, organizations are encouraged to strengthen their workplace wellness efforts by incorporating sleep education into programming, promoting healthier work-life boundaries, encouraging routines that support restoration, and recognizing sleep as a foundation for employee well-being and organizational success.
