Stingrays came ready to impress on Silvers weekend! The Barracudas and Marlins had a WEEKEND! Every swimmer achieved a personal best in at least one event, which is a huge accomplishment and a true reflection of the hard work they’ve been putting in at practice! A special shoutout to Declan S. for earning his second Gold cut in the 50 Fly. We also welcomed three new swimmers to our Gold Team this weekend! Congratulations to Reaghyn A. for qualifying in the 50 Backstroke, Claire M. for qualifying in both the 50 Breaststroke and 100 Breaststroke, and Tay H. for qualifying in the 50 Backstroke and 50 Freestyle. Their dedication and effort are clearly paying off in their races.
Our swimmers also brought home a ton of ribbons and medals! Declan S. earned a 2nd place medal in the Boys 10 & Under 50 Fly. Taylor H. earned a 1st place medal in the Girls 10 & Under 50 Free and a 3rd place medal in the 10 & Under 50 Back. Claire M. earned a 3rd place medal in the 100 Breaststroke. Bella S. earned ribbons in the Girls 10 & Under 50 and 100 Breaststroke, Dylan K. earned a ribbon in the Boys 10 & Under 100 Backstroke, and Alex C. earned a ribbon in the Girls 10 & Under 50 Backstroke. We are so proud of all of our swimmers and the progress they continue to make!
Hunter N. crushed Silvers earning all best times. He ended up with 5 first place medals for 13-14 boys. Rylan A. ended up with 3 more gold cuts and personal bests in all events. Ben F. had a great first championship meet with personal bests in 3/4 events and his first sub 1 in the 100 Free. Ariella T. earned 2 more gold cuts and personal bests in all events. Collin T. swam the 1000 free for the first time and had personal bests in the 100IM and 50 Free. Excellent job Dolphins and Sharks.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out for the Stingrays Meat Raffle, even in frigid temps last night! Your support of our club and these swimmers (and many more who couldn't attend last night) means the world to us! Go Rays! 🖤❤️

The Barracudas and Marlins made a powerful statement to kick off 2026! Another weekend packed with personal bests across the board! Huge congratulations to Ben W and Lucas T on competing in their first-ever swim meet! Taylor H had an outstanding weekend, dropping 15 seconds in her 100 Free, 16 seconds in her 100 Back, and earning another Silver Cut in the 50 Backstroke. Claire M added another Silver Cut in the 100 Free while also breaking 40 seconds in the 50 free with Reaghyn A and Freyja F. Shout out to Claire M and Reaghyn A who both had big time drops that bring them even closer to their first Gold Cut times. And we’re thrilled to welcome another new Silver Team member, Bella S! Huge congratulations on earning TWO Silver Cut times in one meet! I say it every time these swimmers hit the water, but I truly could not be prouder. I can’t wait to see their continued success this upcoming weekend at our last meet before Silvers!
Dolphins and Sharks also had an impressive showing at this year’s Winter Challenge. Avery N. successfully completed her first 200IM. Collin T and Caden T impressed with PRs all weekend and some ribbons in their events. And huge congrats to Rylan A who punched his ticket to short course Golds in March with a 29.73 in the 50 free. Amazing job Stingrays!!

Next up, the Webster Pentathlon! In order to complete the Pentathlon and receive a ribbon, our 8 & unders had to swim a 25 of all 4 strokes and a 100 IM. The 9-10 age group had to complete a 50 of all 4 strokes and a 100IM. Congratulations to Averie H, Cade S, Declan S, Taylor H, Bella S, Claire M, and Reaghyn A for completing the pentathlon! 5 events in one day is a lot and I am proud of all of them for not only doing it, but taking time off in most events! Special shout outs to Cade S for placing second overall in the boys 8 & under category and Dylan K for qualifying for silvers in the 50 backstroke!
Dolphins and Sharks also had an amazing Pentathlon meet. Swimmers were able to successfully complete their five events. Jake SJ. was 15th in the 15 and up age group while Collin T ended up 13th in the 13-14 age group. Rylan A 16th in the 11-12 and Ariella T was 12th in the 11-12 age group. Caden T ended up with a trophy and an overall 2nd place finish. Avery N who only just started swimming last year was able to successfully complete the 5 needed events in one meet. We are extremely proud of this hard work and looking forward to the next one!
