Pride in the Park, the sixth annual celebration for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Southtowns, is moving to a new location for its ever-expanding attendance. The event, which has been held in Memorial Park since its inception in 2021, will move to the Hamburg Fairgrounds this year. The Rainbow Collective of WNY, which organizes the event, believes it’s the first Pride event to ever take place at the fairgrounds. Pride in the Park event shifts to Erie County Fairgrounds to accommodate growing audience. Organizer says new location provides a safe atmosphere from agitators. Available now for Sun+ subscribers.
