The Erie Canal Boat "Seneca Chief" is back in Buffalo after a successful voyage from Waterford, NY. This journey was education-focused, and we are proud to have welcomed hundreds of kids aboard our replica canal boat.
Stop by the Commercial Slip at Canalside for a guided tour! The boat will be open to the public on Fridays (4 PM-7 PM), Saturdays (11 AM-3 PM), and Sundays (11 AM-3 PM) now through September 27!

The Seneca Chief is headed back to Buffalo!
After 10 months, and a journey across the state and back, the boat will arrive back at Canalside around noon Saturday. And it will stay there all summer long! You can tour the boat on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays... private tours can also be arranged. Go check it out and learn about the Erie Canal!
