An enthusiastic, full house gathered today for an exceptional performance by the John Pizzarelli Trio honoring the legendary Tony Bennett—and it was everything we hope Jazz at Kleinhans can be.
This was a concert that truly reflected the premier nature of the program at the iconic Kleinhans Music Hall—where international artistry in jazz meets the enduring legacy of the Great American Songbook in a way that resonates deeply with our community.
We are grateful—deeply so—to everyone who joined us and helped make this afternoon so special.
And sincere thanks to John Pizzarelli, Mike Karn, and Isaiah J. Thompson for their dedication to excellence in music performance. What they brought to the stage was both heartfelt and masterful.
This is what Jazz at Kleinhans is all about.

I had the privilege of joining Lauren Hall on WGRZ - Channel 2, Buffalo’s Most Buffalo, to talk about an exciting moment for Jazz at Kleinhans.
We discussed the recent addition of Branford Marsalis and Dianne Reeves Celebrate the Ballads of John Coltrane—a truly special event—and the continued growth of Jazz at Kleinhans, taking place at Kleinhans Music Hall.
What’s especially meaningful is how quickly this program is gaining recognition beyond our city—establishing itself on the international jazz stage as Buffalo’s premier destination for jazz, the Great American Songbook, and a home for world-renowned artistry.
This is how we put Buffalo on the global stage—through internationally acclaimed music, shared experiences, and a community that believes in it.
Grateful for the opportunity—and excited for what’s ahead.
