5️⃣YRS OF TEFLON MELANIN | I remember when sent this beat... I sat in my basement studio with the music on repeat just taking in the soul of it all. The words came so easily. I felt the spirit in the room. Pretty sure it was off the tail end of the Pandemic Shutdown... the world was barely back open... My soul was aching. Allot of the songs we created at that time I found myself getting louder and louder in the both. Purging all the bottled up emotions I had from being locked in the house for so long and watching the world burn. Fast forward, and it's still burning. But the fire within is too.
