🎉SHOUT OUT!

For more than six months, every single Wednesday morning, this incredible team of men has faithfully walked through our doors at Build Promise – Amy’s Place of Hope with one purpose: to love our guests well.
They don’t just serve breakfast. They serve hope.
They lead our men in worship, share a meaningful devotional, pray with those who need encouragement, offer a listening ear, and remind every person they meet that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. Week after week, they’ve built genuine relationships and have become a consistent source of hope and encouragement for so many of the men we serve.
Thank you for your servant hearts, your compassion, your consistency, and for being the hands and feet of Jesus. Your investment in our guests is making an eternal difference, and we are so thankful to partner with you.

What an incredible couple of days at Build Promise, Amy’s Place of Hope!
This week, our Promise Project - Guests Give Back initiative provided two meaningful opportunities for our guests to serve others.
First, our guests prepared 74 bagged lunches that were delivered across the city to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Then, in partnership with Hope Rising Together, they packed enough nutritious meals to help feed more than 1,500 people in Sierra Leone/Buffalo. Along the way, our guests learned about the incredible work being done to serve some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
What made these projects so special wasn’t just the number of meals prepared, it was the relationships that were built. Our guests, volunteers, and staff shared meaningful conversations, plenty of laughter, encouragement, and genuine friendship. It was a beautiful reminder that when we have the opportunity to serve others, we are often the ones who leave changed.
At Amy’s Place of Hope, we believe every person has something valuable to give. This week was a powerful example that hope grows when we serve together.
Thank you to everyone who helped make these opportunities possible. Together, we’re building community, restoring dignity, and sharing hope, one act of service at a time. ❤️
*Last but not least, we had a special shelter guest this week who was serenaded by another shelter guest. 🎶🐾🖤
