I try to cook all of my family's meals and today for breakfast, instead of oatmeal packets, I made my own. I forgot to add cinnamon 🤦🏾‍♀️ but it was still delish!

Cooking and Coding was an amazing, fun-filled, belly-filling learning experience, plus a celebration of computer science education.
The youth practiced following step-by-step instructions in both a recipe and coding a program. We assisted their understanding of the correlation between a recipe and coding a program while engaging in joyful STEM experiences that nurtured a sense of belonging. Our high-quality afterschool STEM learning programs focus on computer science and digital literacy.

I get to work with our Littles often. Each time I learn a little more and my heart grows a little bigger for them. Let's teach them early and often about ALL of the things they need to be better than us! ❤️

We had a great time collaborating with F.A.T.E. - Families Aimed Toward Excellence, to offer a Coding and Cooking class for our Littles. Coding and Cooking are similar in that recipes and coding a program involves a set of step by step instructions in a specific order to achieve the desired outcome. Fun, interactive, in a warm and welcoming space. That's what we do!

I will never doubt myself again! The last 8 weeks has been transformative as I participated in BNMC's IC Success Accelerator Program. I finished 3rd place y'all! I am grateful for the experience and all the love and support I received along the way. Don't sleep on Classroom Cafe. We out here feeding and educating to increase healthier outcomes for children, families and communities!
