I wish all of you a Happy New Year! Praying for God to bless and guide you throughout the year in all He brings your way.

Working outside in this cold, rainy weather is a stress on the immune system. I feel for all of you who have jobs that are always outside! My son Daniel is a lineman and is one of those who has to brave the elements.
In mid December, I had to take a couple of days to get through a cold/ virus/ allergies - who knows? - sickness. Fortunately, much of my work recently has been indoors, putting a fresh coat of paint on the gym walls and replacing upholstery on the workout benches at Gold's. As facility manager, I'm also the repair tech, so being able to do a variety of jobs is necessary. πŸ˜‰

It's been a while since I posted. Guess I've been so busy that I didn't think about it! πŸ˜‰
The past few weeks have been a little busy:
- Trouble shooting problems with computers at church.πŸ’»
- Getting more computers ready to use with the "Kids" program. πŸ’»πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»
- Replacing the motor and belt on a home treadmill. πŸ”§πŸ”©
- Repairing doors at a school so they're ready for all the traffic! πŸšͺ
- Helping with the hanging of a "large" framed painting at a new house (as in "how in the world are we going to hang this thing?") πŸ–ΌοΈ
- And, of course, all the repairs and maintenance at the gym. (Did you know that the temperatures on the top of a concrete building can reach up to 180 degrees in the summer?🌑️It's a little difficult sitting on anything for very long up there!)
- Then there's fixing tile because someone stole something πŸ˜²πŸ˜•; unclogging bathroom pipes 😬 ; and being up to my elbows in machinery grease!
~~~ All in all it's been a good summer with plenty of variety in the various jobs I've had. Thanks for your time in reading these updates, and thank each of you who have passed my name along to a friend! I appreciate my customers! ~~~
Well, it's "Back to School" and back to the routine. Contact me if I can help with a repair that interrupts that routine!
Spring has sprung and we're busy with some exercise equipment repair, rain gutters that need cleaning out, and computer glitches figured out! Also, there's some Ethernet cable to run in a near-by building.
We also have some cabinet adjustments on the horizon. Cabinet doors without k***s can be a little frustrating, but hopefully I can make a notch along the lower edge of the door for more of a grip area. Wish me luck!
I just returned from doing a re-install of a kitchen sink. The sink was an under-counter install but was coming detached over time. By the time I was called, the disposal was being held up by a spray cleaner bottle in the cabinet below! Anyway, after some plumbing, some sanding off of the adhesive, etc., I installed the new sink using supports which were not there before (??!!) and re-connected the plumbing and the disposal. Everything is working just fine!
