IT MUST BE SAID: I saw WICKED over the weekend with some of the amazing sisters of A.K.A. Sorority 🩷💚 and I left the theater with an overflowing heart. What an absolute feast for the eyes, the ears, the spirit, and the heart. The production design is exuberantly beautiful, with astonishing sets and costumes, choreography, hair, and makeup.

Ariana Grande's global pop phenomenon persona blended seamlesly into her role and all you see is Glinda. She proved that she’s not just one of the greatest singers and musicians of her generation, but also an actor of world-class caliber.

Cynthia Erivo ‘s performance is STELLAR!!! It is contained, nuanced, vulnerable, yet also fierce, powerful, and explosive—both incredibly inspiring and deeply heartbreaking. I felt as though she brought all of herself, Black Women, and her ancestors, to the role.
