Experienced Equipment Operator Needed

Pay Rate: Based on qualifications
Requirements of this position:
-2 years minimum experience as equipment operator
- dependable transportation
- properly maintain fill dirt pit
-complete clearing, grading, loading assignments with minimal supervision
-provide supervision to laborers working with chain saws
-must be able to work in fast paced operation (sometimes emergent tasks pop up)
-must be team player
-must have a smart phone
-preference given to applicants with CDL license​
- must be willing to drive offroad dump truck and complete other task when needed

Responsibilities include:
​Equipment operation will include-
-daily maintenance on excavator, dozer, tracked loader (Greasing, fueling, checking all fluids, cleaning tracks and cab, & tightening tracks as needed)
​​- safely and efficiently clearing land and loading dump trailers
​​- safely and efficiently loading dump trucks at fill dirt pit
- communicating with truck drivers and keeping excavator load sheet accurate and turned in daily
- communicating with owner regarding equipment repairs and service.
-Grading with tracked loader and dozer
-Shaping slopes with dozer/tracked loader
-setting elevations and control points m


General information about working for Georgia Land Group, Inc.:
-typical schedule is 7:00 am to 5:00pm M-F; occasionally a Saturday
-position is eligible for 1 week vacation per year; based on 40 hr week; must work 1 year to be eligible
-based in Brunswick, GA off Galilee Rd
-ALL ITEMS ARE PROVIDED BUT OPERATORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HAVING ALL TOOLS, FUEL, GREASE, COOLANT, ETC WITH THEM DAILY AT JOB SITE. YOU WILL BE SENT HOME IF YOU DO NOT COME PREPARED TO WORK.

Experienced Bulldozer Operator Needed

Requirements of this position:
-2 years minimum experience as operator
- dependable transportation
- must have experience with land clearing, site work, or road construction.
-complete clearing, spreading, and grading assignments with minimal supervision
-provide supervision to laborers
- must be able to efficiently coordinate job site needs with excavator operator and truck drivers.
- must be motivated and willing to take responsibility for the job site and equipment maintenance with minimal supervision
- must be motivated and take initiative to thoroughly learn the equipment you are operating as well as the daily maintenance required
-must be able to work in fast paced operation (sometimes emergent tasks pop up)
-must be team player
-must have a smart phone with GPS capabilities
