Coastal Georgia RV Resort

For those of you that have not seen the news, there is a wildfire currently burning in Brantley County - our neighbor to the west - that has affected thousands of acres. Glynn County (and Coastal Georgia RV Resort) are NOT currently in any danger, but we will continue to monitor the situation and update our guests as necessary.

Regardless of the fire status, Glynn County’s burn ban remains in effect due to ongoing drought conditions and the absence of expected rainfall over the next 10 days. Conditions remain too dry for outdoor burning, and even small fires can quickly become uncontrolled. Yard debris burning and the use of personal fireworks remain prohibited until further notice.

As a preventative measure, CGRVR is expanding the county ban to include personal and communal fire pits on our property until further notice. We appreciate your understanding on this matter, and ask for continued prayers for the citizens of Brantley County as well as the firefighters and other first responders willingly putting themselves at risk to fight this blaze.

***July 10th Update***

Service technicians are onsite to FINALLY complete the fiber optic repairs. The repair process will require a brief interruption in service to most of the park currently unaffected by the outage. The service interruption should not take more than two hours at the most, and will result in full internet, wifi, and cable tv service restored to all of the park.
