The Rodriguez Way

This is a post I never thought I would have to write.

After many conversations, prayers, sleepless nights, and a lot of reflection, We have made the difficult decision that The Rodriguez Way will not be continuing the storefront.

While the storefront chapter is coming to an end, The Rodriguez Way is not.

We will continue through online sales, custom orders, porch pickup, local events, pop-ups, and community connections. We successfully operated this way before the storefront, and I look forward to continuing to serve our customers and support small businesses in this next chapter.

I want to be transparent about why.

This decision is not because of a lack of support, customers, vendors, or business. The support from this community has been incredible, and I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for every person who has walked through our doors, shared our posts, made a purchase, or simply cheered us on.

Unfortunately, for over a year we have been dealing with ongoing building-related issues that we have repeatedly tried to have addressed and have been led on to believe they were fixed . We continued to invest in the space, renovate it, purchase signage, market the business, bring in amazing vendors, and build a community because we truly believed these issues would be resolved. Despite our patience and efforts, the problems have continued, and we have reached a point where we can no longer continue operating in the space under these circumstances.

This has been one of the hardest decisions we have ever made with our businesses . We poured our hearts into this storefront. I dreamed of watching it grow for years to come. There have been many tears shed over this decision because I genuinely loved what we were building.

However, I also know that sometimes moving forward means letting go of something that is no longer serving your family, your peace, or your future.

If there's one thing this experience has taught me, it's that success isn't always measured by how long something lasts. Sometimes it's measured by the people you meet, the community you build, and the impact you make along the way.

Thank you for believing in me, supporting my family, supporting our vendors, and being part of this chapter. It has meant more than you'll ever know.

This isn't goodbye. It's simply a new chapter.
