We pray that, as a church body, we would be mastered by the Word.
May it dwell richly among us, shaping our hearts and renewing our minds according to God’s will.
And when we do not understand, we pray that the Holy Spirit would soften our hearts to receive His Word with humility and faith.
When we open God’s Word, we’re not simply reading words on a page—we’re inviting God to speak, teach, and transform us.
Philippians 2:5-11 calls us to look to Jesus, who humbled Himself, took the form of a servant, and obeyed the Father completely.
As we learn to read Scripture, may we approach it with humble hearts that ask, “Lord, what do You want to show me? What are You saying to me through Your Word?”
The goal isn’t just to understand the Bible more. It’s to know Christ more and allow His truth to shape the way we think, live, and follow Him.
