In our view Broomfield is on a path to failure. The next 5-10 years will be costly. It's hard to imagine our neighbors can support such a clear lack of common sense and reason. Yet the vote is clear. Broomfield has fallen into the same demise as our big cities.

We have too many people who think uncontrolled government and spending will solve their problems. They waste money, live on credit and hate people who conserve their earnings and preserve our history and tradition. Numbers don't lie... only politicians who were elected tonight will try to tell you not to do your own math. You lose either way.

Tonight, over 52% of the voters avoided common sense and didn't vote. We are being led by a minority who will continue to waste our resources, over tax homeowners, builders and businesses, while making "group think" decisions for our small county.

For all those who are blind and not involved, we can only say that you will get what you deserve. For the rest of us, we are the hardened workers and leaders who can weather the storm. Four more years and Broomfield will be a mess... we are sad for the citizens who actually care. For the hateful folks who post on MainStreet Broomfield and Neighbors 2.0, congrats on your victory, prove us wrong, because again, the numbers don't lie.
