Parents often ask us how to help their student get started on tasks they've been avoiding.

Sometimes the answer isn't another reminder.

It's another person.

Rhina calls it an "Accountabilibuddy." Whether it's talking on the phone while folding laundry or having someone present while beginning homework, accountability can make task initiation much easier for students with ADHD.

It's a simple strategy that's helped both her and many of the students she coaches.
