🎉 Congratulations to the latest Local Power graduates! ☀️ ⚡

Not just prepared, but progressing.
Not just finished, but advancing.

This cohort showed what happens when opportunity is met with discipline. Across hands-on training, site visits, and real field exposure, they built practical skills, expanded their knowledge, and earned certifications that will carry them forward. 💪

Some are already participating in solar installations, carrying their training directly into the work. We are proud of you all and excited for what comes next! 🚀

For those looking for a path of their own, this is a reminder that every journey starts with a first step. 🌍

A special thank you to our funders and and our partners for supporting pathways for more futures in our green economy. 💚

Join RETI Center today, Sunday, September 21 for ☀️Sun Day NYC☀️, as we and other advocates celebrate a national day of action for clean energy. This free, family-friendly event will bring together movement leaders, city officials, industry, labor, and communities from across the five boroughs to celebrate New York’s progress and accelerate the energy transition.

🎤 Don’t miss the panel with our Executive Director Jinean Robinson, joined by Climate leader Bill McKibben, Comptroller Brad Lander, and local solar champions including T.R. Ludwig (Brooklyn SolarWorks), José Tulio Gálvez Contreras (Solar One), and Council Member Sandy Nurse, moderated by Kai Wright (formerly WNYC’s Notes from America). You’ll leave with clear actions to bring more solar to New York!
