Well, folks — I’ve had the good fortune of singing on stages from coast to coast and all over the world, but nothing quite compares to this:

Friday, August 1st, from 6 to 9 PM, I’ll be playing a hometown show at Pogolino’s in Festus, Missouri — out on the patio, weather permitting, and inside if the skies don’t cooperate.

Now, this isn’t just any gig. Pogolino’s was my first real job that wasn’t pouring concrete for my dad. Back then I was sweeping floors, washing dishes and slinging pizzas. I think they even wrote ‘singing Carl’ on my time card. I was dreaming’ that one day I’d come back with a guitar in my hands and a few hundred songs in my back pocket. It’s time!

To play on Festus Main Street on a summer Friday night… well, that’s something special. That’s the kind of full-circle moment you don’t take for granted..

So come on out and bring your people. Grab a table and settle in. Let’s share an evening of songs, stories, and a little Missouri magic.
