Community Writing Workshop

Come experiment with writing about contemporary art in a free workshop hosted by Fellicita Felli Maynard and Caitlin Ezell Waugh at the Assembly Plant this weekend. In response to our desire for more writing about the art created in New Orleans, we hope to create a generative, light hearted, collaborative practice. All are welcome, no experience necessary. We will discuss next steps (publishing? a workshop series?) during the session. 
Please bring your computer or paper and pen. 
We will start and end on time.

The ✄ ✄ is back with a full day of making, trading, learning, and gathering around Black independent publishing in NYC. The fair is FREE and open to the public! Come make and trade zines, take a workshop, browse 100+ exhibitors, or lounge in the reading room!

and I are excited to participate as exhibitors for our first appearance at Black Zine Fest under the new collaboration known as Jalli Art Lab. We are premiering new work which included zines and prints. Can’t wait to be in the room with so many wonderful creatives.
