moting artists and sharing their music on YouTube. The goal is to build an album library that is accessible to everyone interested in exploring new sounds.
---No, the channels are not monetized. Only copyright owners are paid through YouTube’s Content ID system. V***r Memory does not and will never acquire any money from the content on the channel. A donation link is available for those who feel the need to contribute in that way. Donation money will go towards buying new music for the stream and eventually improving the technical side of VM (better internet speeds, hardware, etc.) so that your generosity can benefit everyone.
---VM will always take your suggestion into consideration, but please do not expect it to be fulfilled immediately. The channel is primarily focused on uploading the personal collection of the owner. Please scroll down and view the music submissions section if you would like VM to upload your work.
---If the channel has been inactive, it is because the owner is busy with real life outside of V***r Memory. The channel is maintained in the owner’s free time. It will be announced if the channel’s activity is coming to a definitive end, so please be patient and enjoy the content available.
---Send a message to V***r Memory on Twitter @V***rMemory or email v***[email protected] and it will be taken down immediately. The owner apologizes to anyone who disapproves of their content being featured on the channel. Please note that the owner is a fan who wants to share your music with other fans and potential listeners. Every video includes links to your social media and music outlets in the description so that viewers can support you and the hosted labels that feature your content.
07. Why did you upload something that isn't v***rwave?
---V***r Memory focuses on more than just v***rwave. Its overall niche is experimental electronic and “internet” music in general. However, most uploads are vapour-related in some way.
---V***r Memory is not a record label. It is a music library designed to share the owner's personal collection of music, support the artists, and create the perfect database for new listeners and fans.
---VM2 is a secondary channel that was used to upload new content after a copyright strike disabled the main V***r Memory YouTube channel in April 2016. All videos uploaded to V***r Memory 2 were added to playlists on VM1. Album uploads on the original channel resumed on October 21, 2016.

01. Please email me at v***[email protected] with your music. If you email me asking to upload your stuff without a link to your music, it will be ignored. If you email me asking to upload your track, it will also be ignored. ALBUMS ONLY. Please send Bandcamp link or MEGA / Google Drive / Dropbox upload in at least 320kbps mp3. WAV files are not necessary and will only slow down the process of me uploading your music. Please only send 320kbps mp3, FLAC, or ALAC. Do not message me on my social media if you have requests or music to submit. That includes Facebook, Last.fm, RateYourMusic, SoundCloud, Tumblr, Twitter, and YouTube. Only messages sent to my email v***[email protected] will be considered.
02. If you’re sending an upload link from MEGA / Google Drive / Dropbox, please make sure the audio files have the correct ID tags and include a .jpeg of the album art. If your album is available to download for free on Bandcamp, please send that instead.
03. To save both of us some time, please provide your social media links, the album release date, and an album description (optional). If you do not provide this in the first email you send me, I will politely ask for it in my reply if I can’t find out myself. If I choose to upload your stuff, the information you give me will go in the video description of your album(s).
04. I will respond to your email when I have listened to your music. If you have not gotten a response yet, please be patient and don’t spam my inbox. I will try to respond to everybody regardless of whether or not I choose to upload their music. I try to be fair when judging the quality of your music. My only guidelines are: Your music must fit the channel’s theme (v***r-related in some way) and your art can’t be lazy and uncreative. That means you can’t send me a bunch of full songs hardly edited and slowed down with Japanese characters and expect me to upload it. I also won’t upload most albums with cliche v***rwave album art (Roman busts, Fiji Water, palm trees, dolphins, terrible MS Paint edits). If your album relies on those tropes, I probably won’t even listen to it. There has to be some kind of quality control. VM will not upload low-effort v***r memes.
