still processing all of this. disappointed. sad. clearly out of touch. not angry—at the moment. i had been expecting this. not sure what the future brings but happy to be leaving texas and moving to nyc as soon as our house sells. that move was already in the works for family/work-related reasons.

i am worried about the reversal of our civil rights. so sad for my trans brothers and sisters as they seem to be front and center. they need our help more than ever. as do women and their bodily autonomy.

i couldn’t sleep but i needed to funnel my energy into something creative rather than watch the news cycle.

scared. tired.
