I truly believe that our communities need this music right now. We need the messages that Irena Klepfisz is presenting in her poetry, and the values she has been promoting for decades.

We urgently need a radically inclusive Jewish culture that promotes peace, justice, and solidarity: an antidote to nationalism, violence, and authoritarianism.

Irena Klepfisz has been doing this work for decades! Her poetry and prose envision and then create the radical q***r inclusive Jewish space that I want to live in.
