🕯️final molt of 2025; it was a painful shedding, the kind where you have to hold your breath before the next pull before relief. rinse and repeat, now we’ve made it to the end of the year. i will miss all that’s left me, for my old skin was comfortable in its ecosystem - but we’re constantly braving new worlds to grow new thick skin in. see you soon 2026.

to nicole (colie) 🕯️🕊️, a friend who added kerosene to my fledgling fire-pit love for photography and would laugh with me via whatever silly meme we’d find on tumblr, to elusive warming summer sun post late nor’easter spring rain, to saying yes when you easily say no, to the friend who *imports* legs of lamb in his suitcase for a rooftop party, to ticky the tic kissed deer who can be found slumbering in your yard post binge of rain wet pizza and peppers, to strawberry moons and friends who do spells - and to more days on this earth to getting the chance to do it all again. 🌱
