Meet Mike.

We're excited to welcome Mike to Red Moon Wellness. As a newly licensed massage therapist he is currently advancing his training under Lena's mentorship as our newest apprentice LMT. Apprentices at Red Moon are fully licensed, trained in prenatal massage, and are providing sessions at low cost to the community as they advance their skills under Lena’s guidance.

Mike came to massage looking for answers to his own postural challenges—and discovered a calling in helping others better understand their bodies.

His approach is collaborative and deeply thoughtful. He welcomes questions, encourages curiosity, and believes every session is a conversation with the body. Blending focused deep tissue work with stretching and movement, he helps clients reconnect with areas that have become tense, guarded, or forgotten.

With a background in evolutionary psychology, Mike sees massage as more than relaxation. Modern life asks a lot of bodies that were designed to move, adapt, and recover. His work is about restoring that connection, helping clients leave feeling not only better, but more aware of how their bodies work.

There is something really special about watching someone grow into the practitioner they are meant to become.

This month, I’m thrilled to introduce a new apprentice – a talented rising licensed massage therapist who I’ve been mentoring.

His name is Mike and he’s an incredible person and promising new practitioner with a lot to offer! As he completes some advanced training under my guidance, he'll be offering massage appointments at a reduced rate, making therapeutic bodywork more accessible while he continues to build his skills under close guidance.

Every experienced therapist was once a beginner. We're proud to be a place where new talent is nurtured with care, intention, and high standards.
