Happy Monday! Who’s in the mood for pizza? In Flatiron, Patsy’s Pizzeria has opened a new downtown location inside Freehand New York!

The space sits inside of the hotel on Lexington Ave, marking a new outpost of the long-running New York pizzeria.

Inside, it’s a sit-down setup with a bar area connected to the hotel lobby space. The menu focuses on Patsy’s famous pies, including whole pizzas and slices depending on service.

The original Patsy’s in East Harlem (pictured above) dates back decades, and this location brings that setup downtown.

Have you got to check out the new location yet?

News just broke that Donohue’s Steak House on Lexington Ave is set to close this June after about 75 years on the Upper East Side.

The closure comes as the restaurant winds down a run that started back in 1950, staying in the same family across three generations and operating out of the same location between 63rd and 64th Street the entire time.

Owner Donohue-Peters and her niece opened a second location called Donohue’s East in Westhampton Beach last summer, which marked the family’s first expansion in decades. A third location with another niece is also planned elsewhere on Long Island.

Inside the Lexington Ave flagship, black vinyl booths line the perimeter and a dark wood bar sits just inside the entrance off Lexington. The menu has stayed centered on steaks and chops, with sides like creamed spinach and baked potatoes. Now that it’s finally closing its doors, what dish would you go back to have one last time?

Jing Fong on the Upper West Side has closed last month after about eight years in the neighborhood. This was the smaller outpost of the long-running Chinatown banquet hall that brought dim sum cart service uptown.

Inside, big round tables filled the room, with red accents and carts moving through regularly with items like roast pork buns, har gow, siu mai, and other dim sum plates.

Did you ever make it to this sit-down dim sum spot before it closed?
