Seven years ago I left my corporate job in fashion not sure what I was going to do next but knowing I needed to make a change. I had two young children and felt the constant pull of balancing motherhood and a career that I had worked hard at but required a lot of me. I craved balance, flexibility, connection, and let's be honest, had lost my passion for fashion. I wanted to be excited about what I was doing, and I wanted to do it on my own terms. Not long after leaving my job and following a few eye-opening interviews and job offers, I made the totally-not-like-me decision to build something of my own. I had the idea to shake up the body care category with a less is more approach to your daily shower routine. I consulted during the days and built my brand at night, and in April 2017 launched Meant.

After much deliberation and with mixed feelings, I have made the difficult decision to say goodbye to Meant. My family life has pulled me in a different direction and it's time to move on and focus on this next important chapter of my life. I'm proud of what I've built with Meant. I have amazingly loyal customers whom I will forever be grateful for.
