There is something about France that figuratively ✨enchants ✨ me. Being a city girl I thought Paris was the only place that would have that magic but I was wrong. We spent time in Aix en Provence with side trips to Lourmarin, Isle Sur La Sorgue, Gordes and then moved to Nice with side trips to Monaco and Villefranche Sur Mer. We ate and walked and shopped and basked in the spring sun. So much to do here and we didn’t scratch the surface but a good reason to return!

It’s so beautiful here. Breakfast in Aix, morning in Lourmarin, afternoon truffle hunting (and truffle eating!) with and a little sunset stroll around Ansouis.

This year’s Christmas mail featured one of life’s small luxuries: good flaky salt.
A friend introduced me to Maldon a few years ago and I’ve never been able to go back to the table stuff.
USPS delivery rate on these tins was hit or miss but the ones that made it arrived in a hand painted, purse friendly mini tin filled with the good stuff. Perfect for emergency finishing needs.
