Flabaire is the solo project of Ralph Maruani, a Paris-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and co-founder of D.KO Records. Known for his lush, melodic sound, he’s also a bassist with Secret Value Orchestra and part of the psych-rock band Aboukir. At just 31, he’s already released three albums and numerous EPs, earning a reputation across France and beyond with appearances at iconic venues like Tresor, Hoppetosse, and Pratersauna.

His music has been championed by legends such as Move D, DJ Gregory, and peers across the scene. Recent releases on Bass Culture and HOUSEWAX (RAWAX) have gained support from Steffi, Ben Sims, Chaos in the CBD, Ryan Elliott, and Cinthie.

His latest EP, Be Here Now, is out now on My King Is Light—the label founded by minimal luminary Thomas Melchior—and has already caught the ears of Raresh, Axel Boman, Titonton Duvante, and Mountain People.
