Here’s a move a lot of folks don’t know:

If your case gets denied or is still pending because of paperwork, contact your local City Council office. They can often submit your documents directly to HRA and help make sure your case gets looked at.

Don’t let a paperwork issue cost you your benefits.

The City opens FREE Cooling Centers during heat emergencies where you can get out the heat, cool down, and give your body a break. Heat exhaustion and heat stroke are real.

Drink water.
