There is this silence in the wind after the holidays. It’s crisp, clear and sharp.

I whisper back.

The mist embraces my cheeks and the water droplets rest on my jacket. To be in communication with the piercing silence of nature is to be in oneness with all. As I listen to the silence of nature, it becomes more fluent. I understand what the echos of the rain are trying to say. There must be balance in all we seek. The fog does not impede, it slows down the pace. We must ask what nature is trying to teach. Language is not all words, it’s a rhythm. To discover a language that was once lost creates infinite joy. We all have nature’s language buried within.

In this cold silence, I found the warmest melody.

Stages

We have so many stages in our life, each one with an ending and a beginning but the start and end of each one can be so subtle. Sometimes I am right in the middle of a new stage of my life that I have to reflect where it began. I like to reflect on the simple, subtle, and small increments of movement- movement of mind and emotion- because they all lead up to the whole picture, a different stage, a determination, a state, a decision, etc. Sometimes when I am deep in reflection I feel I am not here nor there, stages evaporate. We are in such constant cycles that it feels there has not been any new stages just a disintegration of them. I am thinking that is real evolution the disintegration, the dissolving…

L I F E W H I S P E R S

I first heard this term in a SuperSoul podcast episode from Oprah she referred to these messages that our body, life , mind sends us as life whispers.

I have felt this before- in previous romantic relationships, job situations and friendships. Every time I ignored them they would get bigger and louder… I would find myself constantly feeling empty and unsatisfied.

Now I try to listen to the whispers when they are still whispers versus loud yelling 😹😿. It takes work and practicing checking in with yourself.
