🧱✨🏳️‍⚧️Trans formative Schools has been creating something powerful!

What started as an afterschool program for youth ages 9-15 has grown into a community rooted in safety, joy, creativity, leadership, and affirmation. Here, young people build confidence, express themselves, develop new skills, organize for change, and imagine bigger futures for themselves and each other.

In just three years, we’ve:
✨Provided consistent, affirming afterschool programming for trans and gender-expansive youth
✨ Helped secure community victories that protected trans youth rights in NYC
✨ Supported efforts that brought millions of dollars to trans-led and trans-serving programs
✨ Organized rallies, uplifted youth voices, and celebrated trans leadership

Every workshop, every CEC 2 meeting, every rally, every afternoon at the Christopher Street Pier is where connection is made possible by a community that believes trans young people deserve the freedom to thrive.
