Getting my aura picture was really awesome: a lot of creative and healing energy 🥰 and seeing all the famous houses and walking the streets with all the fall colors was a lot of fun!

However, learning more about the witch trials was truly disheartening. Many of the accused “witches” were done so by hearsay and simply accused others in order to delay their own deaths leading to over a hundred people accused and left to rot in horrible conditions which they had to pay for! Adding to the injustice, the “judges” granted only 15 minutes to the “guilty” to prove their innocence one of these judges was simply a wealthy merchant given temporary and unjust authority to pronounce guilt and even issue death sentences to deal with the high number of people accused….

This chapter in history reflects a distressing misuse of power and a stark reminder of the consequences of unfounded fear as well as prejudice and it makes me think how history tends to repeat itself…
