As we continue to spotlight our grantees, learn more about two organizations that have been raising awareness via community events. From a Maternal Health Fair and a four-week Lecture Series to a Prematurity Awareness event and a Haitian Women Parents Café, grantees and are bringing resources and community to the parents of Brooklyn.

Black Maternal Health Week starts this Saturday, and this year we’re rolling out a new, Brooklyn-specific resource.

The Brooklyn Maternal Health Directory is a free, comprehensive guide connecting families to prenatal care, doulas, postpartum support, mental health services, housing assistance, nutrition, and more.
