Far too many mothers are receiving care that works against them — care that isn’t evidence-based and runs counter to what we know supports better outcomes. Too many feel unheard, unsupported, and pressured during pregnancy and childbirth. The system wasn’t built to make change easy. But midwifery care and doula support show up in the data again and again as real, tangible solutions. We know what works — and if we listen to mothers themselves, the path forward is clear.

“As a first-time mom navigating pregnancy in a foreign country, I knew how important it was to feel truly safe, supported, and heard by the provider I chose.
