Meet your instructor, Anne Holden.
A photographer, basket artist, and educator based in Duxbury, Anne brings a fresh, colorful perspective to the centuries-old tradition of Nantucket basketry. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn the basics of handweaving while creating your own Nantucket-style basket bracelet using hand-dyed reed in colors you choose yourself. Along the way, Anne will share the history of this unique craft, demonstrate traditional basket-on-mold techniques, and guide you through every step of the process.
