Meet Natalie! ✨ Pinkies out is the only proper way to hold your mic cable!
Natalie has been involved in the music world all her life thanks to her family. Her father has been writing music and playing out since before she was even a thought. Being apart of a band even dates back to her great great grandparents! Singing was always something she loved but never pursued. That was until she realized she was an adult now with adult money and decided to sign up for vocal lessons. That’s how she met Jake…I mean Dilbert. Fast forward three years, she gets to jam every week with some very talented musicians that teach her new things each practice.
Musical inspirations: “Tough question to answer as my favorite genres will range from rock to funk, soul to pop, old school hip-hop and more. I take inspiration from every artist I listen, from vocal techniques to stage presence.”
Fun fact: “when I’m not jamming…I’m either crafting, building something, traveling or probably participating in karaoke somewhere.”

Meet Dan! We know you’ve already been introduced from the Plenty of Dan dating app…I mean Show Search application we posted a while back 😉
Dan started guitar in his teen years while blasting Pixies, Modest Mouse, and Wilco in his ear holes. He has always been heavily influenced by those sounds but loves any kind of music.
“My fun fact is that I am also the same dude who plays bass in the Tallbois”

Meet Dilbert Montgomery III! He’s the guy in the back with the sticks 🥁
“My musical journey began in Middle School, where I played tuba in a polka band. I was heavily influenced early on in my career by the super group The Shaggs, specifically their top charting hit, “My pal foot foot”, a testament to a total musical prowess and modal mixture. After leaving the polka band I met an old friend named Greg who helped me find the funk. I have since lost the funk do not ask me for the funk I do not have the funk. I do have quite a bit of Baileys though. At any rate I met these cats at a bus stop in Shanghai, and they gave me a set of drumsticks. Unfortunately they got mixed up in my bag with the frozen confection drumsticks and now my drums are very sticky.”

Meet Sean! Guitarist of 5 Second Rule who has been deemed as the Riff Master. He grew up playing violin but switched to guitar in middle school because Black Sabbath made him fall in love with rock music. When he saw the video of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen at G3 together, he was inspired to see how good of a guitar player he could become. He had an excellent music teacher in high school who went above and beyond to teach him and his friends classical theory, which he ended up majoring in at college.
Musical Influences: Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Arjen Lucassen
Fun fact: Steve Vai once fixed the pickup levels on his guitar and they had a duel afterwards. “I’m hoping to do it with him again someday because he wiped the floor with me.”

Meet Benson: the bassist for 5 Second Rule and the guy you can always count on to wear a white t-shirt and khaki shorts!
Fun fact: Benson is actually a guitarist! 🎸 He minored in music at the University of Hartford studying music theory, jazz guitar, and sound recording.
Music inspirations: Radiohead, Soundgarden, and Oasis
Outside of music Benson likes watching movies, building computers, and collecting different editions of Huckleberry Finn
