Two silver and two top-four finishes for the USA to close out the Princesa Sofia regatta 🥈🥈
After six days of racing on the Bay of Palma, Nevin Snow / Ian MacDiarmid delivered a standout performance to secure silver in the 49er, while Noah Lyons added another silver in the Men’s iQFOiL fleet. Lyons’ second place comes in a fleet with all medalists from the Paris 2024 Olympic in attendance – so it was game ON 🔥
Just shy of the podium, Noah Runciman placed 4th in Men’s Kite, Daniela Moroz placed 6th in the Women’s Kite, and Charlotte Rose finished 4th in ILCA 6—highlighting how close the US athletes came to multiple medals across fleets. In total, 47 American athletes competed, showcasing the country's depth and competitive strength on the world stage.
With shifting conditions testing adaptability all week, the regatta proved to be a key early benchmark. Team USA entered the final day in medal contention in five fleets—an impressive signal of momentum and what’s ahead as the Olympic season gets underway ⛵️🔥
