Per WPRI reporting , "On July 31, the attorney general’s office announced that CMS had approved an SEP for “those enrolled in UnitedHealthcare plans who are assigned to, are currently receiving care from, or have received care within the past three months from a provider or facility being terminated from the [Medicare Advantage] provider network.”

We are awaiting confirmation of details from UHC. Therefore it appears it may not apply to all Medicare Advantage Members. We will be sharing as soon as we get details.

A Special Election Period to change plans has just been announced for United Healthcare Medicare Advantage members.
