I traveled to Erwin, Tennessee to document the devastation left in the wake of Hurricane Helene. At Impact Plastics, the floodwaters claimed the lives of several workers, turning the factory into a site of tragic loss. Over 50 patients were urgently evacuated from Unicoi County Hospital as the rising waters threatened the facility. Many individuals, stranded on boats or clinging to the roof of the hospital, waited desperately for rescue as emergency teams navigated the chaos. There is currently another storm forming named Hurricane Milton.
