Complete Canine

After welcoming our newest two legged member of the family in late February, we are back to work!

This is Blu! A sweet, confused little frenchie who is here to build confidence, as well as improve his reactivity and socialization. We’re taking things slowly and controlling his environment. Overthe past ten days he’s made great strides in establishing a relationship with, and trust, in me. He’s learning not everyone is scary and needs to be barked at. We’re so proud of his efforts!

Nova is the absolute sweetest dog! She adores her people, especially children. She is a mix of German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, and pit bull. Despite her breed make up, she is not super high energy. Nova loves to cuddle up on the couch or lay down with a bone to chew on.

However, she could also make a great beginner sport dog! Nova has medium ball drive and med-high food drive. She could excel in obedience, rally, nose/scent work, barn hunt, and possibly dock diving.

Nova is dog friendly with the right dogs (males her size generally), but can be selective, so a meet and greet would be required for any current dogs. She is muzzle trained for extra safety. She has a desire to chase cats, but not hurt them, and will respect dog savvy ones.

Overall she’s an absolute love of a dog and would make a great companion, family dog, hiking buddy, etc.

This little nugget is Oreo! She’s joined us to work on building her confidence so that she can find her forever family through Seventh Heaven Rescue. We’re so proud of her so far!

This sweet boy is Sterling! He did training with us a few years ago and now is in need of a longer term foster (adoption possible). He’s a pit mix who prefers female handlers but with the right introduction can bond with males. Sterling is crate trained, house trained, and obedience trained. He would need a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home and we are looking for a foster with no small kids. He’s a very sweet boy, just a little fearful at times.
